Beautiful and Ugly Photography Photos

For my second photography project, we had to take 10 pictures of things we think are ugly and 10 pictures of things we think are beautiful. 

Below are 20 pictures of ugly to beautiful pictures with a story for each photo!

This photo is something I see everyday, and it is located near my house. This property is always covered in trash and I hate looking at it. There isn't much I can do about it due to the fact that it is illegal to trespass on someone else's property. So I am left at just looking at it as I drive by. 

I HATE RED MEAT!! Since I do not like beef at all, I figured it would be a great photo to take for my ugly photo project. I had my cousin and his girl friend come eat dinner with me one evening just so I can take a photo of their food haha. Since I do not eat red meat, clearly, I did not want to order something I would not eat. Luckily, they were both up to the task of dealing with my devious plan. 

I do not care what you say, but dumpsters are ugly! They are never cleaned unless they are brand new, and they are always full of trash which makes them smelly. NO THANK YOU!

The small town I live in in Texas is very attractive to birds. These birds pick a spot in town near trees and power lines and just have a ball! There are so many birds that I find it borderline disgusting. Don't get me wrong, I like birds, just not that many birds in one spot, pooping all over everyones vehicles. 

Dirty dishes are gross especially if you let them pile up after one day. Need I say more?

Oh, my wonderful boyfriend's mother was oh so generous for letting me take a picture of her yawning! She despises this photo actually, but yawning to me looks hysterical and makes people look funny. I have to cover up my yawn because I just feel like I look funny. 

I HATE FEET!!!!! Nuff said.

When I look at this helmet, it reminds me of war. War is ugly, it might be needed, but it is ugly.

EWWWW gross! Dead fish on the edge of the lake...... Why wouldn't I take a photo of something so ugly?

I don't know about you but I cannot stand it when trash is just thrown out, especially by water. It really irks me and makes me cringe. I looked all over the place to find a trash can and there wasn't one anywhere within my sight. I ended up picking up the cup and through it away at the nearest gas station which luckily was just up the road. 

I have never seen a cat that looks like this before. I thought she was one of the most beautiful cats I have ever seen. She (Aggie) just showed up on our door step one day and we took her in. We are currently looking for a wonderful home for her since her and our male cat do not get a long at all, we have to keep them separated. 

Trees in a straight line? What? My OCD side is kicking with excitement! 

Old, rustic, falling apart building? I want this in my back yard! This old barn is located on the side of the road. I get to see this beautiful barn everyday on the ride to and from work. I just love it!

While driving down the road, I decided to pull over and take this photo of a windmill. I absolutely love taking photos of windmills. I can't help it!

I just love the way this photo looks. The blue tint in the photo just makes it perfect in my eyes. You have the old type writer and the old books, which just make it look like a photo that was taken many years ago. 

This photo was taken in downtown Fort Worth, Tx. I love how all of the colors come together in this photo. The red brick, the blue sky, and the old clock. They all just work well together. This photo was actually the photo that the other students in my class really enjoyed as well. 

This photo was taken at my brother's wedding. I waited all the way up until the end of their photographer being done taking photos just so I could take one photo of them. I took this photo because I think weddings are beautiful and I wanted to add it to this project. 

Cake donuts!! Yum! Do I need to say any more?

Sun setting at the lake. I love water: ocean, lake, pool, river, you name it, I love it. ha

Who doesn't think a sports car is beautiful. I went to the dealership where I use to work at and asked if I could take a picture of one of the new corvettes, well of course they sold the last one the day before I came in. But luckily, one corvette was traded in, so I got to take some pictures of that instead!
